Arlington, Virginia - On the 35th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination, hundreds of people travelled to Arlington National Cemetery yesterday to visit his grave. Senator Edward Kennedy, his wife Vickie, and Ethel, widow of Robert Kennedy, arrived in mid-morning to pay their respects.

The family prayed and placed flowers on the graves of the president, who would have been 81 this past May, his wife, Jacqueline who died in 1994, and two of their children. John F. Kennedy and Jackie had a daughter on August 23rd, 1956 who was stillborn and a son, Patrick, who lived for only two days after his birth on August 7th, 1963. The family also visited the grave of Senator Robert Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968 while running for president, where they also placed flowers and prayed.
