Johansson's first Grand Slam title earned him 200 points, giving him 209 points for the year so far.
Russian Marat Safin is second on 143 points after losing 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, 7-6 to Johansson in Sunday's final. The Champions Race, won last year by Australia's Lleyton Hewitt, starts each January.
