A Pentagon statement said a civilian television cameraman was killed and four sailors were injured.

The cause of the crash of the SH-60 helicopter, which belonged to the guided missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay, was under investigation, the Bahrain-based Fifth Fleet said in a statement.

The statement did not give any details about the cameraman, who it said was preparing a news story on the U.S. Navy.
