A Galway man has been told he should consider telling his elderly parents he committed an oral rape on a youth two years ago.
Sentence on the 44-year-old single man was adjourned on bail to July 23rd in the Central Criminal Court. The 17-yearold victim has also initiated a civil action for damages against him.
The defendant pleaded guilty in June to the oral rape of a youth, aged 17, in the toilets of Ceannt Railway Station, Eyre Square, in Galway on October 19th, 1996.
