Judge told man broke order

A man was remanded in custody when Judge William Hammill heard he had broken all of his bail conditions

A man was remanded in custody when Judge William Hammill heard he had broken all of his bail conditions. Mr Joseph Lawlor (54), of no fixed abode, was before Dublin District Court on nine charges of breaking barring orders at his wife's home at Huntstown Avenue, Blanchardstown, and her place of employment.

He had been granted bail on condition that he went to Athy, did not visit Dublin, did not drink, did not not visit his wife and did not put her in fear. Garda John Holland said he had broken all the conditions.

Mr Lawlor said he was pleading not guilty to all charges, and Judge Hammill remanded him in custody to March 22nd, with April 9th reserved for hearing.
