A decision by appeal court judges in Belfast today will determine whether Monday's controversial Apprentice Boys parade will take place along the Lower Ormeau Road.

The three judges were in session until 9.10p.m. last night and then announced that they were reserving their decision until today, Good Friday, when the courts are normally closed.

Lord Justice Nicholson, sitting with Mr Justice Girvan and Mr Justice Coghlin, said they would deliver judgment "sometime before lunchtime".

Earlier yesterday, Mr Justice Kerr dismissed an application for a judicial review of the Parades Commission decision to allow the march.
