John O'Donoghue's revenge? That's what they are calling it in Iveagh House. The car belonging to Minister of State Liz O'Donnell was clamped outside her Department on St Stephen's Green last Monday. Like all junior ministers, O'Donnell uses her own car, but is supplied with drivers. When the dreaded clamp was noticed the full diplomacy of the Department of Foreign Affairs sprang into action and it was removed, sans penalty.
