Leeds 2 Chelsea 0
Robbie Keane and Mark Viduka struck in the last five minutes to give Leeds United a deserved 2-0 home win over Chelsea today, increasing their chances of a top three finish and a Champions League place.
Keane, on loan for much of the season before signing permanently from Inter Milan on Wednesday, made the breakthrough in the 85th minute shortly after coming on as a substitute, getting past Carlo Cudicini at the second attempt.
Australian striker Viduka lashed in the second two minutes later after a mistake by Marcel Desailly, to take Leeds to provisional third place on 62 points and guarantee at least a UEFA Cup place.
They lead Ipswich Town by virtue of having scored one more goal. Ipswich play Charlton on Sunday.
Chelsea, whose best chance came when Gianfranco Zola hit the post in the 67th minute, remain sixth on 54 points. - Reuters
