The Special Criminal Court will hear closing submissions from the prosecution and defence today in the trial of a Dublin man accused of kidnapping a former National Irish Bank chief executive, Mr Jim Lacey.
Mr Justice Barr, presiding, said the court would consider submissions from the prosecution on the evidence it was relying on to prove the guilt of Mr Joseph Kavanagh.
The judge said the court would also hear submissions from Mr Kavanagh's counsel, Mr Barry White SC, relating to the prosecution's evidence against his client.
