The Labour Court is expected to issue a statement later today following the outcome of talks between SIPTU and National Toll Roads management.

SIPTU said it will issue a statement after reviewing the Labour Court recommendations. It is likely the trade union will ballot its members on the proposals before pickets resume.

There was no SIPTU picket on Dublin's toll bridges today while the Labour Court attempts to settle the two-week long strike. National Toll Roads has declined to comment pending the outcome of the talks.

The two-week dispute centres on pay and working hours. Last Tuesday SIPTU asked the Irish Congress of Trade Unions for an all-out picket.
