Dehli - India is conducting its largest military exercise in 13 years along its borders with Pakistan, writes Rahul Bedi. The exercise involves preparing to cope with enemy nuclear, biological or chemical attacks. Both Pakistan and India developed nuclear capabilities in 1998.
Over 50,000 troops and around 120 Indian Air Force fighters, attack helicopters and transport aircraft are participating in the week-long Poorna Vijay ("complete victory") manoeuvres across the contiguous states of Punjab and Rajasthan which end at the weekend.
