Leeds chairman Peter Ridsdale has received threats from fans aimed at himself and his two daughters, aged three and five.
Police have been called in by the Elland Road club and Ridsdale told the Sunday People: "While this is something of a very personal nature, I feel threats being made against my children go beyond what anyone would expect from individuals calling themselves Leeds United supporters."
The threats follows the club's decision to consider a move away from Elland Road, and it is reported that as part of an extensive investigation, West Yorkshire police have taken away evidence for DNA testing and handwriting analysis.
