Legal argument was continuing yesterday in the trial of a man accused of the murder of his uncle at a cottage in Connemara in 1997. Mr Patrick Joseph McGreene (29), with addresses in Corrib Park and St Mary's Road, Galway, has denied murdering his uncle, Mr Tom Clisham (53), in Indreabhan between November 24th and December 4th, 1997.
The State pathologist, Dr John Harbison, has given evidence that he believed Mr Clisham was strangled.
