Legendary comedian Bob Hope has died at the age of 100.
The star died last night of pneumonia, said his long-time publicist, Ward Grant.
His family was at his bedside at his home in Toluca Lake, California.
The United States's most-honoured comedian - and millionaire many times over - was a star in every category open to him - vaudeville, radio, television and film.

He was perhaps most notable for a string of "road" movies with long-time friend Bing Crosby.
For decades, he took his show on the road to bases around the world, boosting the morale of servicemen from the Second World War to the Gulf War.
In 1998, the London-born comedian was made an honorary knight.
