Leinster’s European Cup pool 6 match against Newcastle has been postponed. After an inspection of Newcastle’s pitch at around 11 a.m. this morning, it was decided that the surface was unplayable.
The match has been provisionally rearranged for tomorrow at 2.30 p.m.
Leinster had planned to leave Newcastle tomorrow night and so the rearrangement will not adversely affect their preparations, but, one way or another, the match will have to played tomorrow as there is no room on the fixture list to rearrange the game for a later date.
