It was not the easiest of Sunday mornings for singer Lionel Richie who had to cancel his Irish concerts at short notice following a diagnosis yesterday morning by his doctor.
Richie (63) was due to begin his tour tonight at the O2 in Dublin and Wednesday in Belfast. He announced he had to reschedule it at short notice due to an illness. Richie did not state what the illness was, but said his doctors had told him that he should make an “excellent recovery”.
Richie’s concerts have been rescheduled to take place at the O2 in Dublin on December 10th and the Belfast concert will take place on December 11th. Ticket holders are asked to retain their tickets for the new dates in each city.
