Ulster Unionist deputy leader Lord Kilclooney, formerly Mr John Taylor, took his seat in the House of Lords yesterday. He was supported by his former party leader, Lord Molyneaux of Killead.
The former Northern Secretary, Lord King of Bridgewater, formerly Mr Tom King, also took his seat. He was supported by former British cabinet ministers Lord Younger of Leckie and Lord Mayhew of Twysden. Lord Kilclooney, who was MP for Strangford, retired in January.
