A Dublin man, a Co Cork woman and a Lotto syndicate from Co Wexford are the winners of Saturday's £3,013,847 Lotto jackpot.
The Dublin man, who wished to remain anonymous, yesterday collected his cheque for £1,034,616. Describing himself as a navvy, but now an ex-navvy, he is in his 50s. "I'm going straight down to Waltons music shop to clear the £600 balance on my new piano accordion," he said.
Ms Phil Kelly, from Ballinacurra, Midleton, Co Cork, also collected her share in the jackpot, accompanied by her husband Donie, a plasterer, her 19year-old daughter Laura and several other relatives. The Wexford syndicate is expected to collect its money today.
