Police in Belfast have closed down a city centre club that they believe was being used as a loyalist paramilitary drug distribution centre.
The property, on Lower North Street, was raided at the weekend and 800 ecstasy tablets were recovered.
At least 100 people were inside when officers targeted it on Saturday night. A PSNI spokesman confirmed detectives are following a definite line of inquiry, with loyalist terrorists believed to be involved.
As well as the ecstasy haul, illegal gambling machines, cigarettes and alcohol were all taken from the club. One man was arrested but later released until further reports are carried out.
