An explosion rocked a street in east Belfast today amid fears of new violence linked to a loyalist paramilitary feud.
Police were called to the scene of the explosion at a house on London Road, close to where rival loyalists have been involved in a developing shooting war.
Earlier, police said a telephoned warning had said pipe bombs were left in the area.
Nobody was hurt in the incident but there was damage to houses.

The attack happened just hours after the funeral of a senior Loyalist Volunteer Force man shot dead in the city last week.
David Stewart (34) was gunned down on his way to work at a plumbing firm in the city. It was part of the fall-out between the LVF and rival Ulster Volunteer Force.
