Allahabad - An Indian court overruled a state government order yesterday requesting leading international travel agency Cox and Kings to withdraw from a huge Hindu festival, an official said.
Cox and Kings, which offered luxury tents at the Maha Kumbh Mela (Grand Pitcher Festival) in the northern city of Allahabad, had been accused by the local authorities of violating the event's sacred status and asked to leave. Around 70 million people are expected to gather for the spectacular 42day-long festival.
