Motorists experienced lengthy delays on the M50 again yesterday when a truck overturned and caused gridlock on the motorway.
The incident occurred on the roundabout at the M1/M50 interchange at about 10am. The overturned vehicle blocked the southbound lane of the M50, causing lengthy delays for motorists throughout the late morning and afternoon.
The congestion also caused tailbacks on the inbound and outbound lanes of the M1 Dublin to Belfast road.
Early morning commuters also experienced delays on the road, with traffic at a crawl between junctions three and seven due to roadworks near the Ballymun exit.
