Jeff Maggert, third behind Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson in the US Open two weeks ago, has entered for the Stg£2.2 million Scottish Open.
He joins fellow Americans Stewart Cink, John Daly, Brad Faxon, Fred Funk, Matt Kuchar and Tom Lehman, winner of the title in 1997.
Nick Faldo, whose fifth-place finish at Bethpage Black was his best display in a major for six years, has also confirmed his participation, as have José Maria Olazábal, Ernie Els and Retief Goosen.
The Scottish Open, used by many non-European Tour golfers to warm-up for the British Open a week later, takes place at Loch Lomond between July 11th and 14th.
