A man (18) has died following a road collision in Co Cork.
The two-vehicle crash happened about one mile outside Rosscarbery on the Skibbereen Road at approximately 8pm yesterday. A male passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and a second passenger in the car were taken to Cork University Hospital with injuries, one described as serious. The driver of the second vehicle, a van, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Gardaí closed the road examine it, and local diversions were put in place.
