Detectives investigating the murder of Baiba Saulite two months ago today have arrested a man in Dublin this afternoon.
The suspect (26) was taken in for questioning after gardaí raided his home in Finglas, Dublin, at 9am. He is being held at Coolock Garda Station.
The latest arrest brings to four the number of people detained over the shooting dead of the young mother-of-two.
She was killed at her home in Swords, north Co Dublin, on Sunday, November 19th. Nobody has been charged in connection with the killing.
The Latvian national (28) was shot dead in the hallway of her rented home at Holywell Square, Feltrim Road in the town. Her two young sons, aged three and five, were asleep in the house at the time.
Ms Saulite's estranged husband was last month jailed for two years after he admitted abducting the couple's two boys. Hassan Hassan, a Lebanese national, was already serving a four-year jail sentence for his role in a car-rigging scam.
The three other people arrested in connection with Ms Saulite's death and later released were all believed to have been Lebanese nationals.
