A man was remanded in custody last night when he appeared in court on charges relating to the discovery of a brothel in Limerick city.
Mariuz Glazeo (26) from Poland, of Richmond Court, Mount Kenneth Place, Limerick, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon when gardaí searched his apartment.
He is accused of operating a brothel at the apartment and gardaí allege he is involved in a wider prostitution ring. Cash, four mobile phones and a laptop were seized during the Garda search.
Two women were arrested during a follow-up search at another apartment.
