An unemployed barman has appeared in court in Enniskillen accused of murdering his wife in Omagh on Saturday.
Mr Brian Joseph McGinn (28), of Dervaghroy Drive, Beragh, was charged with the murder of Ms Geraldine Majella McGinn. During a brief three-minute hearing, a detective sergeant said that, when charged, Mr McGinn had replied "I didn't know I had done it. It wasn't me".
Mr McGinn was flanked by two policemen in the dock. His head was bowed as the magistrate remanded him in custody to Omagh court on November 24th.
