A man has been arrested in connection with an arson attack at Raheny Garda Station in north Dublin city earlier this week.
The 52-year-old man is being held under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act.
It is understood he was arrested this afternoon after receiving treatment in hospital for injuries received in the incident, when he is alleged to have tried to set the station alight with petrol on Tuesday night.
He was apprehended at the scene and rushed to hospital.
