A man was tonight arrested by gardaí investigating the murder of a mother-of-three in Co Cork.
The 32-year-old Turkish national is being questioned by detectives about the killing of Rose Patterson (30) in an apartment over a barber's shop in Clonakilty.
The young mother was found dead with stab wounds shortly before midday in the flat in the small picturesque seaside town last Thursday.
The man was arrested at around 5.30pm this evening and is being detained at Clonakilty Garda Station.

He is being questioned under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be detained for up to 24 hours.
