Gardaí in Dundalk have arrested a man in connection with the fatal shooting of man in Co Offaly on Thursday.
Mr Michael Rosney (20) died after he was shot at a house party in Belmont on Thursday night.
Gardaí said the man was arrested this evening and is being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
