Man charged over death of Gavin Brett

A man has been remanded in custody on charges linked to the murder of Gavin Brett (18) on July 29th

A man has been remanded in custody on charges linked to the murder of Gavin Brett (18) on July 29th. Mr Kenneth Wallace (36) was charged on Saturday with holding information about the killing of Mr Brett who was shot dead in a drive-by shooting outside a GAA club in north Belfast.

Mr Wallace, a plasterer from Pinewood Avenue, Car rickfergus, Co Antrim, was remanded in custody to appear again before Newtownabbey Magistrate's Court on August 16th. A second man arrested by police investigating the murder in Glengormley was released without charge on Friday.
