A 29-year-old man from Waterford city has been charged in connection with death of Lorraine Crowley last week.
Ms Crowley (37) was found dead at her home in Dungarvan on Wednesday
Mr Keith Hannigan from Phillip Street was charged with assault causing harm at a special sitting of Dungarvan District Court last night.
In a five-minute hearing, the court was told more serious charges were being considered.

Bail was opposed by the state and Mr Hannigan was remanded in custody to appear in court again in Waterford District Court next week.
