A man has been killed at a US amusement park after his long hair became caught in the wheels of a roller coaster.
Doug McKay was pulled as high as 40 feet in the air by the Super Loop 2 in in Washington state before it dropped him onto a fence.
Whidbey Island sheriff's spokeswoman Jan Smith said. "It basically scalped him, and he fell and landed on the fence".
Mr McKay (40), from Idaho, was the owner of the roller coaster, and had been spraying lubricant on the tracks at the time of the accident.

The ride was in progress at the time, and his hair got caught in a car full of visitors, Ms Smith said.
Hundreds of people witnessed the accident, and grief counsellors were sent to the fairground to help the emergency services.
