Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have begun an investigation into the death of a man (24) in an apparent accident at a garage in Midleton, Co Cork.
The single man from Youghal, Co Cork, was welding a tank at the garage at Carrigshane when there was an explosion that killed him instantly.
The man has not yet been named.
