A man in his fifties has drowned after a fishing boat sank off the west Cork coast.
Two men were fishing in a punt in Pulleen Harbour about a mile out from Castletownbere, when the boat sank.
One of the men managed to swim ashore and raise the alarm just before 10.30am.
Castletownbere lifeboat and the Irish Coastguard recovered the body of the second man shortly later.
