A man arrested by detectives investigating a suspected "Real IRA" bombing campaign in the UK is due in court in London today.
Mr John Paul Gerard Hannan, 19, of no fixed address, is charged with conspiring to cause an explosion on or before November 14, 2001.
Mr Hannan was detained in Northern Ireland under the Terrorism Act at the request of the London Metropolitan Police anti-terrorist officers and was taken to a police station in central London for questioning.
He is due to appear at Bow Street magistrates court in London today.
Four men have already appeared in court charged in connection with three bomb attacks last year - at BBC offices in Wood Lane, White City, London, on March 3rd, in Ealing, west London on August 3rd and in Birmingham on November 3rd - which were linked to the "Real IRA".
All four were remanded in custody pending a pre-trial hearing.
Mr Hannan was also charged with possessing an explosive substance at Hilltop Farm, West Ardsley, West Yorkshire. Detectives also charged him with having a firearm with intent to endanger and possessing a grenade.
