A murder investigation began today after a man’s body was discovered in a guesthouse in Bangor, Co Down.
The PSNI said the body of the man, who has yet to be formally identified, was discovered at the Princetown Road address shortly after 7.30am.
A police spokeswoman said he is believed to have been assaulted and stabbed.
A post mortem examination is due to be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.
The victim has yet to be identified. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
