A former Northern Ireland amateur snooker champion has been given six months to repay more than £5,000 sterling he dishonestly obtained by using, stolen cheques.
Henry Morgan (30), now living at Durden Street Liverpool, pleaded guilty yesterday at Belfast Crown Court to a list of specimen charges of theft forgery, deception and falsification, of documents between August and December, 1995.
Judge McKay was told Morgan was getting help for a gambling addiction. He deferred sentence for six months to allow Morgan to make recompense.
