Gardaí in Dublin have released without charge a man who was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a pub in Dublin's south inner city on Sunday night.
A file was last night being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Earlier, a woman who was also being held in connection with the shooting was released from Kevin Street Garda station where she was being held.
At around 10pm on Sunday night, Jimmy Curran, who was a champion kick-boxer, was shot in the head by a man with a handgun as he drank in the Green Lizard pub on Francis Street. Originally from the area, Mr Curran was living in Santry with his partner and two children at the time of his death.
Gardaí would still like to talk to up to 30 other people who were in the pub at the time .
They have not ruled out revenge as a possible motive as it is thought that Mr Curran had been involved in a previous altercation.
