British police are due to question a man today in connection with the discovery of a bomb at the home of a Sellafield nuclear plant worker.
The suspicious package was found at a house in Egremont, Cumbria, on Monday afternoon.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said a 30-year-old man was arrested after presenting himself at a police station in Workington at 8pm last night. He declined to name him.
Police had appealed earlier for information on the whereabouts of Darren Morris (30), who lived at the house and was recently employed at the nuclear reprocessing plant in Cumbria as part of an external contract team.
A 100-metre cordon was placed around the property in Southey Walk and a neighbouring house was evacuated as the "small, rudimentary device" was made safe.
The package was taken away for forensic examination.
