A man (49) is being questioned at Antrim police station as part of an investigation into the death of Shirley Finlay in September.
The man, who was already in custody in unrelated charges, appeared before Ballymena Magistrates Court today, where police made an application to remand him into their custody for questioning.
The body of Ms Finlay (24), who was described as "vulnerable" and "a loner", was found wrapped in a duvet in the grounds of a church in Ballymena on September 19th.
She had been strangled, and her body was dumped in the car park.
