A man is being held following the seizure of ammunition and drugs in Dublin last night.
Officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit assisted by local units made the seizure of cocaine and cannabis, believed to be worth more than EUR500,000, in the north inner city after carrying out a number of searches.
Gardaí also recovered drug mixing paraphernalia including mixing agents, a hydraulic press and a cash counting machine.
The man, who is in his mid-30s, was arrested and is being held at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
A large quantity of ammunition, a magazine and a silencer was also found in the searches.
Gardaí said they believe the operation has dismantled a "major drugs mixing and distribution network".
