A man is expected in court today in connection with the seizure of cocaine and heroin in Dublin with an estimated street value of £1 million.
The man, in his forties, was arrested with another man on Saturday last after four kilogrammes of cocaine and one kilogramme of heroin were discovered.
Both were questioned under the Drug Trafficking Act over the weekend.
In a separate case, four Irish men arrested on Sunday, November 11th, following the seizure of heroin valued at £1 million in Palmerstown, Dublin, are still being questioned.
The men, aged between 20 and 40, were arrested by detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit after six kilogrammes of the drug were found.
The men are being held at Sundrive Road Garda Station in Crumlin under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act 1996.
