One young man was killed and another seriously injured in a road accident in Co Wexford this morning. It happened at Raheenagurren, near Gorey. Only one car was involved.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses to a collision in Co Roscommon in which two drivers were seriously injured yesterday. The accident, involving a white Ford Fiesta and a blue Volkswagen Passat, occurred at Ballycahir on the Ballymoe-Roscommon road at 9.20 a.m.
Two Welsh men in their early 30s who died when their car hit a wall at Castledermot, Co Kildare, on the Dublin-Waterford road on Saturday evening have been named. The were Mr Geran John Collins (33) and Mr Mark Baker (37), both from Rhondda, South Wales.
