Man killed in Dublin crash

A man in his 20s died this morning after a collision between a car and a van in Dublin.

A man in his 20s died this morning after a collision between a car and a van in Dublin.

The crash happened at Castlecurragh Rd, Blanchardstown at 9.20am and the drivers of both vehicles were brought to James Connolly Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead a short time later while the van driver remains in a serious condition.

The road, which was closed for a Garda technical examination has now reopened.
