Gardai believe Englishman has set up major drugs business in Ireland after fleeing from Britain.

An Englishman in his forties was being questioned by gardai in Dublin last night in connection with the smashing of a multi-million euro cocaine distribution operation.

The 46-year-old was arrested at a house in Rathgar by officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit who seized approximately €50,000 worth of the drug. He is being questioned in Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
