One of two men arrested in connection with a double murder in south Dublin has been released without charge.
The 28-year-old was taken into custody yesterday during raids by officers investigating the shooting dead last month of Eddie Ward and Brian Downes in the Walkinstown area of the city.
A 27-year-old man also arrested during the swoop is still being questioned at Crumlin garda station.
Mr Ward and Mr Downs were attacked on October 5th as they walked along the Greenhills Road.

Up to 10 shots were fired during the incident and the attackers fled on a motorcycle, which was dumped in the Grand Canal near Bluebell.
