A man in his fifties remains in custody following the discovery of what is understood to be cocaine and amphetamines with an estimated street value of up to €5 million.
The man is being detained under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act in Thurles Garda Station. He can be held for 7 days.
The drugs were found in a farmhouse close to the village of Moneygall in Co Tipperary.
The substances seized are being tested by the Garda Technical Bureau.
