A man arrested in Co Kerry over the murder of a man in Britain was todayremanded in custody.

A man arrested in Co Kerry over the murder of a man in Britain was todayremanded in custody.

The 38-year-old is wanted for questioning by West Midlands Police inconnection with the death of Lee Tongue, who was found stabbed to death in Birmingham on NewYear's Day.

The man, who is from Birmingham, was arrested in Ballinskelligs last nightafter a warrant was produced for his extradition.

He was remanded in custody until tomorrow after appearing at HighCourt.
