A man has been remanded in custody in connection with the seizure of cocaine valued at €160,000 in Drogheda yesterday morning.
Mark Thornton (27), from Beechwood Drive, was charged at Drogheda District Court today with possession of the drug for sale or supply.
He was remanded in custody to Cloverhill Prison with consent to bail including an independent surety of €150,000.
